{Venue Spotlight} Hollow Hill Event Center

On March 28th, we had the pleasure of participating in the open house at Hollow Hills Farm and Event Center. Going to a new venue, you never know what to expect and we were amazed at the details the Getcher family thought of!

 

Hollow Hill Farm was established by David and Jean Gechter in April 1983.

 

 

 

 It was originally a part of the Tucker Family dairy farm. Hollow Hill is still a working farm – growing and baling coastal hay at this time. The land has been lovingly tended by the Gechter's over the years, and in recent years they wanted to share their beautiful farm with the world.

 

The decision to open the farm up as an event center was born, and the progress started almost immediately. David has always had a love of building things, and has created many different "vignette" style areas at the Farm including the Great Hall, Old Town, The Hen House (Bridal Suite), The Bunk House (Grooms Suite), Pavilion, Barn and Pecan Grove Ceremony area complete with an old wood cross.

 

 

 It is a place of love, and they share that with everyone who comes out, as you know. Right now the farm is a bustle with a variety of wildflowers, including Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, Indian Blanket, Black-eyed Susans, and Mexican Hat. Its just a lovely place to visit, and hold an event.

{Out & About} Aristide Event Center Open House



Last night, we had the privilege of attending the Bridal Open House at Aristide Event Center in Mansfield, Texas.  We were honored to showcase a sampling of our dresses at this gorgeous venue and had so much fun catching up with some of our fellow wedding vendors: Lucia of Foster Blue & Co. Wedding Planning, Beccy of Creme de la Creme, Heidi of Sugar Bee Sweets, and David of Video One Productions!  Here are a few pics of the event.

Blush by Winnie Couture Fashion Show

As a follow up to our earlier post, we wanted to share the runway photos from the fashion show at NY Bridal Week for Winnie Couture.

Esme, received over 10 million likes in 3 hours after Glamour posted her picture on Instagram. You MUST see this glitter girl in person.

Intuzuri Collection Debuts in the US!

We know how you love your couture lace look and did we ever find a fabulous collection! Intuzuri {$1900 - $3,000}debuted for the first time at NY Fashion Week from over the pond.

We snatched this jewel of a collection up and made sure that our Bliss brides could be one of the first to wear this style down the aisle!

So…………. We had them pack it all up and ship the collection straight to our salon from Market! Yes, you heard that right! All of the US stores saw it NY Fashion Week and our brides get it this week!

Months before any store will have it in their collection! The gowns will arrive on November 16th and stay through November 24th!

One of our stops during the whirlwind trip was to the Wtoo by Watters fashion show and did we ever enjoy it!

{Bridal Shows} Bridal Experience: Blossoms on the Bricks

We were so excited to be a part of the first Bridal Experience at Cendera Center with some of our favorite vendors. Blossoms on the Bricks was there and showcasing some of their floral talent. {Bridal Show} The Bridal Experience at Cendera Center

We were so excited to be a part of the first Bridal Experience at Cendera Center! Breaking out of the "bridal show" box, they departed from the typical runway fashion show and provided brides with infomal, ongoing fashion shows featuring looks from engagement, bridal and honeymoon. Here are a few looks from our bridal showcase and in following posts, we will show you all of the other great vendors that were present!

All we can say is "more please!". We were delightfully able to sample some of the artistic and sugary sweetness from Creme de la Creme at the Bridal Experience at Cendera Center. If you are looking for bridal shower sweets, your bridal or grooms cake or confections for just about any event, you must visit the girls at Creme de la Creme! Pictures may be worth a thousand words but you must taste these creative delectables to get the full picture!
